Will a silk press damage my hair?

When done properly and not too frequently, a silk press causes minimal damage. However, the heat used can potentially cause your curly pattern to loosen over time. It's important to use a heat protectant and limit at home heat styling. health.

How should I maintain my silk press at night?

To maintain your silk press overnight, wrap your hair in a silk or satin scarf, or sleep on a silk pillowcase. This helps reduce friction and maintain the smoothness of your style.

Can I work out with a silk press?

Intense workouts that cause sweating can revert your silk press. If you must exercise, try low-impact activities and use a sweat band to protect your edges. Be prepared that you may need to touch up your hair after working out.

What's the difference in a quickweave vs. a sew-in?

A quickweave involves bonding hair extensions to a cap using glue. Quickweaves last up to 5 weeks and take about 2 hrs.

For a sew-in your natural hair is braided down into cornrows and wefted extensions are sewed onto the braids. Sew-in installation is about 3 hours and should be removed after 8-10 weeks

Can I shampoo my sew-in/quickweave?

Yes, you can shampoo a sew-in. Focus on cleansing your scalp and the installed hair, thoroughly dry the braids and hair to prevent odor and mildew.

You can shampoo the leave-out of your quickweave. Dry shampoo is a better option for overall gentle cleansing to help remove excessive oil and odor without compromising the bonding glue.

What hair should I purchase for my Quickweave/Sew-in?

Purchase 2 packs of 100% human hair from the beauty supply store and lengths should be 10in or 12in for bob styles, 14in or 16in for mid length styles and 3 packs of 18 in or or longer for long styles. Recommended Brands:Milky Way, Outre, Duvessa, Goddess Remy, Sasha, Saga.
